The Southern African Development Community (SADC) is a regional organisation comprising 16 member states in Southern Africa.
These countries include: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Established to promote economic integration and development, SADC aims to achieve peace, security, and stability in the region. It works towards advancing sustainable economic growth, social development, and poverty eradication through various initiatives and policies that encourage collaboration and mutual support among its member states.
