Flooring Technical & Training Specialist (Gauteng)

FINfloor SA is looking for an experienced and hands-on Flooring Technical & Training Specialist to join our Gauteng team. This role suits a seasoned professional who thrives in both technical problem-solving and training environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and site inspections across Gauteng
- Conduct on-site assessments and provide technical reports and solutions
- Deliver training to installers, retail partners, and internal teams
- Ensure correct installation practices aligned with FINfloor standards
- Act as the regional technical support lead
- Support sales teams with technical guidance on projects
- Drive product knowledge transfer and upskilling initiatives
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in the flooring industry
- Strong knowledge of laminate, SPC/LVT vinyl, and engineered wood
- Experience with floor prep, installation methods, and inspections
- Ability to diagnose installation failures and provide solutions
- Training or mentoring experience
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle (essential)
- Willingness to travel across Gauteng, with potential for national travel as the role evolves
